Melbourne East

VIC, Australia
Welcome to the Melbourne East church community.

We have been a local community church here in Melbourne for many years, starting with a city coffee shop in 1968 offering ‘Coffee, Conversation & Christ’. Some of the people who met us through the coffee shop more than 55 years ago are still part of our church community (as are their kids and grandkids), along with  families, couples, teens, uni students and professionals.

We are committed to loving God and one another. We love any opportunity to gather together to worship Him, to pray together and to discover more about our God and His ways as He continues to draw us closer to Him. We enjoy any chance to spend time together socially too.

Sunday Meetings

The various communities through Melbourne currently meet together in Brunswick on the first Sunday of every month at 3pm. While there is no set format we typically have worship, prayer, teaching and communion. We also have a meeting in the Ringwood area on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 10am. Every other Sunday we have smaller meetings in our homes, where we worship, pray and often have the opportunity to share our lives and love for God and Jesus.

Midweek Meetings

During the week we gather together in the day (for those who are available) and in the evenings in smaller groups to share the reality of living in love with God and fulfilling His call on our lives. We love to be together and share the life that He has given to each of us. It is our privilege to encourage each other wherever and however we can to live in all that God has so freely given to us.

If you would like to join us please get in touch so we can give you the details.

A little about us

Joel and Carly

I lead the communities in the Melbourne area having moved here from Adelaide in 2018. I live in the eastern suburbs with my wife, Carly and our 3 teenage and adult kids. I love the privilege of leading the various communities, with all being part of people experiencing God and discovering what it means to fulfil God’s call on their life. It is my privilege to be part of a church community which reflects God’s love and the life that Jesus shows us all how to live.
