In 2 Peter 1 we are shown how receiving God’s gift of His Holy Spirit should radically change your life because in Him, the Holy Spirit, we have been given everything we need for a Godly life. We don’t have to try and change ourselves but rather as we listen, respond to and obey the Holy Spirit and then we experience the gradual spiritual growth that only He can produce in our lives. As always there are things for us to do but not in our own strength or effort, but in the light of who God is and all He has and continues to do for each of us.
