Possessing Your Promised Land

Simon Kostas

When you were baptised you gave your life to God and from that moment on your life, by your free will choice, was His. Since that time God has wanted you to claim “that land” and possess it fully with Him.

Using the Biblical account of the Israelites entering the Promised Land, Simon highlights how vital it is that we believe God, live in His perspective, that we do not settle or compromise and that we live in the victory that Jesus has, through His birth, death and resurrection, already won for each of us. Though our lives (like the Promised Land itself) is already occupied (with “giants and walled cities”) by us, God wants us, by faith, to fully possess the lives He has given us and which we have promised to Him.
