Many Christians would be familiar with the words Jesus spoke to his disciples, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20 NIV).  However, it’s only when we consider this verse in its context that we discover the fullness of what Jesus was saying; He was highlighting the vital importance of our unity with God and with one another in the church, Jesus’s body.
