We are all invited by God to live in a personal, intimate, love relationship with Him, Who is love and loves us. But it will always be our free-will choice whether or not we fulfil our heart’s desire and commitments to God. It is our “care for ourselves” in its many various forms which is the biggest potential barrier to, or distraction from, us truly being God’s as He intended… something which satan is always trying to exploit.
