Jeremiah #4: God is Always True to Himself

Simon Kostas

As we look at the historical setting of Jeremiah’s life we see how God invites us, His people, to be ‘in the world but not of it’ because we live in love with Him. Wherever we choose to have anything as well as God in our lives for our security or provision, we are providing for ourselves instead of depending on Him alone. Each of us are responsible to God whenever we do that and in His love God has, through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, made a way for us to always be with Him if we will walk the path that He did.
