Jeremiah #9: Opposition is Inevitable

Simon Kostas

When we live for God we will experience both external and internal opposition. Yet most of us do not expect it and try and avoid it. Here in chapter 20 Jeremiah shows us how to remain faithful to God in the midst of such opposition, not in our own strength but by remaining with God and choosing to believe all He says. It is often in and through these difficult circumstances that we grow spiritually and are matured by God “attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).
