Jeremiah #13: God’s Truth: The Straight Path

Simon Kostas

Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”, yet how many of us live in the “way of Jesus”. Here in chapters 26 to 28 of Jeremiah we see him living in the truth no matter the personal cost to him in contrast to others choosing comfort no matter the truth. In love God warns us to save us and though the truth may be uncomfortable to face now, it presents deeper pain later. Facing the reality of our choices with God is always better than avoiding them without Him. God’s truth – the Truth – always leads to freedom. It is the Jesus way and He is always inviting us to “Come, follow Me”.
