Lazarus knew who Jesus was and loved Him. His life since being raised from the dead by Jesus was a living testimony of Jesus’ power and authority and who He was. Lazarus was thankful for all Jesus had done for him. He knew he was loved but he was not looking to love in return. He was a spectator but not a participator, yet love looks to give and be expressed. Jesus is the resurrection and the life and invites us to share in that with and through Him.
